NICHOLS, Rose Mae

Mrs. Rose Mae Nichols of St. Petersburg, Florida, formerly of Covington, age 72, died Saturday evening, July 5, in St. Petersburg General Hospital. She was born in Covington, March 20, 1908, the daughter of John and Ada Nebeker Kelley. Her husband, Cleo W. Nichols, died in 1970.
Mrs. Nichols was a graduate of Covington High School and Lakeview Medical Center School of Nursing at Danville, Illinois. She was a past president of the 11th District Illinois Nurses Association and a past president of Lakeview’s Alumni Association. She was also a past Might Chosen One of the Daughters of Mokanna at Danville and a member of Danville OES.
Surviving are two sisters-in laws, Mrs. Pruitt Kelley of Bradenton, Florida, and Mrs. Glenn C. Kelley of Covington.
Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at Seminole Beach Memorial Funeral Home in St. Petersburg with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery at St. Petersburg. =s
