Wallace, July 24- Mrs. Ida Ann Newnum, 66 died late Friday night at her home near Wallace. She had been ill for the last year. Born in Fountain County, Dec 16, 1882, she was the daughter of James and Phrania Algood. She was married to Milford Newnum June 30, 1901. Surviving are the husband; 5 daughters, Mrs. Bernice Lasley of Raymond, zeash; Mrs. Ina Woodward of Danville, Ill; Mrs. Dorine Crowder of Bloomingdale; Mrs. Mary Brown of Tangier and Gladys Sowers of Wallace; a son, James Newnum of Bloomingdale; a sister, Mrs. Dessie Clements of Urbana, ill; 24 grandchildren and 7 greats. A daughter preceded her in death. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m Monday in Centennial church near Yeddo.

Mrs. Ida Ann Newnum, 66, lifetime resident of Fountain County, died at her home in Wallace Saturday morning following more than a year’s illness. Death was attributed to complications.
She was born Dec. 16, 1882 in Fountain County, a daughter of James and Phronia Algood. She was married June 30, 1901 to Milford Newnum.
Surviving are her husband; 5 daughters, Mrs. Bernice Lasley, Raymond, Washington, Mrs. Ina Woodward, Danville, Mrs. Doreen Crowder, Bloomingdale, Mrs. Mary Brown, Tangier, and Mrs. Gladys Sowers, Wallace; one son, James Newnum, Bloomingdale; 1 sister, Mrs. Bessie Clements, Urbana; 24 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. One daughter preceded her in death.
