NEWNUM, Glen - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Glen Newnum of RR 4, Veedersburg, age 71, died Friday morning, March 6, in the Veterans Administration Medical Center at Danville, Illinois. He was born at Yeddo, January 31, 1910, the son of Orastus E. and Sylvia Elzada Redenbaught Newnum. In 1937, in married Agnes Arkman Leonard, who survives. A member of Centennial Church and the Masonic Lodge at Yeddo, he was a veteran of World War II and had returned from  Danville VA in 1971.

  Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Presser of West Terre Haute and Mrs. Jeannette Rager of Morgan Hill, California; a stepson, Donald Leonard of Danville, Illinois; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiating. Burial was in Centennial Cemetery. – thanks to S
