Charles Edward 'Chuck' Newnum, 67, Kingman, died 4 a.m. Sunday in

Danville Illinois Veterans Hospital. Mr. Newnum was a salesman at Radio

Shack. His memberships included American Legion, Veterans of Foreign

Wars and The Modern Woodsmen. He served in the Army and was a 1954

graduate of Kingman High School. He was born Feb. 18, 1936, at Kingman,

to Robert P. and Sylvia Grace Newnum. Survivors include sister Mildred

Ratcliff, Kingman; and two brothers, Robert Newnum, Ft. Wayne, and

Raymond Newnum, Evansville. Funeral services are scheduled 2 p.m.

Wednesday in Hall Funeral Home, 400 East State St., Kingman with Pastor

Glenn Ray officiating. Burial will be in Kingman Fraternal Cemetery with

military rites by Kingman American Legion Post 384. Friends may call 4-8

p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to The Charles

Newnum Memorial Fund. Envelopes will be available in the funeral home.
