Mrs. D. A. LOUGH and Mrs. Parke LOUGH attended the funeral of Stanton NEWLIN in Bloomingdale, Sunday. Mr. Newlin died in the Vermillion Co. hospital in Clinton on Thursday of last week as the result of injuries received when he stepped into the path of an automobile the previous evening. He was born in NC 79 years ago. He was a brother of the late Edgar Newlin. Mr. and Mrs. JO Rosebaum of Indianapolis also attended the funeral. ---kbz
