NEWKIRK, Allen - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Allen Newkirk 62, an inmate at the Fountain County Farm for several years, was found dead by the side of the road between 2nd and 3rd strets in this city about 3:30 o'clock Friday afternoon. The body was found near the Frank Gregory barn. Coroner Aldridge was notified and conducted an inquest Friday afternoon. It was brought out that he had been visiting relatives in Warren County and was walking back to the county home. Heart trouble was given as the cause of his death.
