Mrs. Nellie C. Neal, 92, 715 N. Walnut St., Veedersburg, died at 12:30 a.m. EST Thursday (Jan. 12, 1978) at the Lane House Nursing Home in Crawfordsville.
Born Oct. 2, 1895, in East Lynn, Ill., she was the daughter of Cautious and Alice Erskine Leigh. She was married to William T. Neal, who died in 1955.
She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church in Woodland, Ill.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Esther Brewer of Veedersburg and Letta May Neal of the Woodland Manor Nursing Home, Attica; a grandson, Jerry Brewer of Covington; a granddaughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Sharon) Brown of Kingman; and five great grandchildren. – thanks so much to S
