Mrs. Caroline Jane Nave, 84, died at 5:30 a.m. today in her home north of LaRue. She suffered from a heart ailment and was ill a number of years. Her husband, Alton P. Nave died in 1946. Born Sept 17, 1873 at Attica, Ind, she was a daughter of Thomas and Mary Elizabeth Rupert Campbell, the father a native of Attica and mother of Urbana. A resident of Larue area 19 years, she came here from Orlando, Fla. When in Attica she was a member of the Presbyterian Church. She was a past president of the Woman’s Society of the Methodist Church in Mount Victory and she was at one time a member of the Methodist Woman’s Society at Cheshire, O. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Earl W. Lowe of Kenton and Mrs. Joel Gibson of Bay Village; two sons, Harold H. Nave and Chester a. Nave of LaRue; five grandchildren; a brother, Edward R. Campbell of Indianapolis, Ind and a sister, Mrs. Mildred Detwiler of Los Angeles, Calif. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in LaRue, Rev. Lewis A. Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7:30 tonight. - kz
