Oren A. Nash, 72, Galena, Illinois, died Tuesday evening, December 22, in New Braunfels, Texas.
Born in Fountain County December 6, 1909, he was the son of Frank and Audra Cook Nash. He married Marjorie Crawley who survives. He was a retired employee of Kraft Foods.
Other survivors include a brother, Louis of Miami, Florida; three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Alexander of Chrisman, Illinois, Mrs. Doris O’Neal of Watseka, Illinois, and Mrs. Eldon Schultz of Burlington, Wisconsin; a half brother, Marion Nash of Yuma, Arizona; and a half sister, Mrs. Carrie Lawder of Hamilton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by three brothers, a sister and two half sisters.
Services were in Galena, Illinois with burial in Antioch, Illinois. The family requested any memorials be in the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society. – s
