NALE, Sam - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Sam Nale of Georgetown, Illinois, age 81, died Sunday evening, January 24, in Lakeview Medical Center at Danville, Illinois. He was born near Georgetown, April 26, 1900, the son of Sam and Allie Rigdon Nale. April 18, 1929, he married Alma Robinson, who survives. Nale was a retired construction worker.

  Also surviving are five daughters, Mildred Kocurek and Alice Bodart, both of Georgetown; Violet Felgenhauer of Covington, Grace Gagnon of Westville, Illinois, and Sharon Hicks of Danville; five sons, Frank, Phil, Sam Jr., Charles, and Stephen, all of Georgetown; a sister, Lucy Garrison of Ridge Farm, Illinois; a brother, Ben of Danville; 37 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Houghton Funeral Home in Georgetown with Rev. Leon Korb officiating. Burial was in Georgetown Cemetery. – thanks to S
