McNEAL, Richard - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Richard McNeal, owner and publisher of the Democrat Bloomfield, In died last week at his home of heart disease. Mr. McNeal was well known to the people of Attica and this county as he was owner and publisher of the Fountain-Warren Democrat from 1891-1893 and was in the newspaper business in Covington for three years.  At the time of his death Mr. McNeal was a member of the Bloomfield school board. He was a strong man, always threw his influence on the side of right as he saw it. The many friends of the family in this city greatly sympathize with the bereaved.   –- kbz
