McMASTERS, Walter - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Walter A. McMasters of RR 1, Kingman, age 47, died Tuesday afternoon, March 9, in Indiana University Hospital at Indianapolis. He was born in Danville, Illinois, April 19, 1934, the son of Carl P. and Agnes Zea McMasters. May 1, 1954, he married Shirley J. Ziebart, who survives. A former resident of Bismarck, Illinois, he moved to Kingman in 1980 and was employed as a machinist at Danville Metal Stamping Company.

  Also surviving are two daughters, Debra Chenoweth of Danville and Carolyn at home; a son, Carl, at home; two sisters, Wyonia Watkins of Frankfort and Willa Steinberg of Palmdale, California; a brother, William A. of Westville, Illinois; three grandchildren and two step grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Morrison Funeral Home in Bismarck, Illinois, with Gary Robinson officiating. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park at Danville, Illinois.
