VEEDERSBURG, Ind. (CNS) - Pearly McMasters, 84, a former resident of Tangier, died at 4:30 p.m. yesterday (July 30, 1970) at the Williamsport Community Hospital. He had been ill three years. Born Dec. 1, 1885, in Parke County, he was the son of Miles and Mary Cox McMasters. He was married to Myrtle Lewis, who died Feb. 5, 1949. He was a retired carpenter. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Rovene Taylor of Danville, Mrs. Elizabeth Weber of Veedersburg and Mrs. Eleanor Hatch of Veedersburg; two sons, Roy of Danville and Hershel of Cates; a brother, Arthur of Tangier; 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. EDT Saturday at the Fishero Funeral Home. Bill Keller will officiate. Burial will be in Tangier Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home. Friends will be received after 4 p.m. Friday. - jlr
