Veedersburg Ind - George McManigal, 91, or 405 S. Main, Veedersburg, died at 8 a.m. today (Mar 23, 1969) at the Tall Trees Nursing Home in covington. Born Sept 21, 1877, in Fountain county, he was the son of Samuel and Eliza Williams McManigal. He retired after 30 years of operating a restaurant on Indiana Ave. in Veedersburg. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Albea LaRue McManogal, also a patient at the Tall Trees Nursing HOme; and two stepsons, Basel LaRue of Tangier and Carlyle LaRue of Henning, Ill. The body is at the Parham Funeral Home. Arrangements are incomplete.

VEEDERSBURG - George McManigal, lifelong resident of Fountain County, died early Friday morning, March 28 at the Tall Trees Nursing Home in Covington. Mr. McManigal was 91 years old.
His widow, the former Albea LaRue, remains a patient at the nursing home. The couple also maintained a home it 405
South Main St., in Veedersburg.
The deceased operated a Veedersburg restaurant which bore his name for over 30 years.
He was born on Sept. 21, 1877, the son of Samuel and Eliza Williams McManigal.
Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: two stepsons, Basil LaRue of Tangier and Carlyle LaRue of Henning, Ill.
Funeral services were held at 2 p,m. Saturday at the Parham Funeral Home. Burial was in Rockfield Cemetery, southeast of Veedersburg.
