Veedersburg, Ind. - Mrs. Alba McManigal, 85, died at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday (May 13, 1969) at the Tall Trees Nursing Home in Covington. She had been a patient several months. Born March 12, 1884, she was the daughter of Obediah and Mariah Cook Yount. She was married to Harvey LaRue and later to George McManigal, both of whom preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Basil LaRue of Wallace and Carl LaRue of Henning, Ill; two grandsons and four great grandchildren. The body is at the Parham Funeral Home in Veedersburg and friends may call from 7-9 tonight. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ivan Steed officiating. Burial in Rockfield Cemetery.

VEEDERSBURG - Mrs. Alba McManigal, 85, died Tuesday, 6 p.m., at Tall Trees Nursing Home in Covington. She had been a patient there for several weeks.

Born March 12, 1884, she was the daughter of Obediah and Mariah Cook Yount. She was married twice, first to Harvey LaRue, who preceded her in death, and then to George McManigal on July 12, 1950. He preceded her in death on March 28, 1969.

Surviving are two sons, Basil LaRue, Wallace; Carl LaRue, Henning, Ill.; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Thursday at Parham Funeral Home, with Rev. Inn Steed officiating. Burial was in Rockfield Cemetery. - jz
