Patrick C. Mahon, a well known citizen of this city passed away on Monday at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville after a number of months of patient suffering. He was born in Limerick, Ireland March 17, 69 years ago. He lived in Covington about 50 years and reared a large family, being survived by the following children: Mrs. Son Adkins, Mrs. Chas. Steele, Mrs. John Hunt, William and James McMahon. Four children preceded him in death. The funeral services were conducted on Thursday morning from St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with interment in the Catholic Cemetery. –- kbz
