JOE McMAHON, son of Pat McMahon of Covington, died last Saturday evening from burns received at the home of his sister, Mrs. Charles Steele, while starting a fire that morning with coal oil. The blaze flared up setting his clothing on fire and burning him so badly that he died that evening. He was 26 years old and was well known in Covington and vicinity. -- s
