McMAHON, Abbie Sprankle - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Abbie Sprankle McMahon was born in Troy Township, Fountain County Indiana March 8, 1888 and died Feb 18, 1914. She was the oldest daughter of SC and Josephine Layton Sprankle and lived all her life in this township.  She was married to Jerry McMahon June 6, 1906.  To them were born two children: Josephine, age 6 years and Francis aged 5. She leaves surviving her husband and two children, three sisters and one brother.  She died at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Danville, Ill.  The remains were brought to the home of her sister, Mrs. Farmer McMahon in Covington and the funeral was held Saturday morning at St. Joseph’s Catholic church. - kbz
