McMAHAN, Lillie Belle

Mrs. Lillie Belle McMahan, age 78 years, passed away at her son’s home near Cates at 11 a.m. on Friday. She had suffered a paralytic stroke during the past week.
Mr. McMahan was born in Vermilion County, Illinois, on March 22, 1871, the daughter of Leonard and Rena Graves. She was married to Al McMahan, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons, Ivan of Kingman, Albert of Tab and Ralph of Crawfordsville; two brothers, Orville and Clarence of Tangier; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services were held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Nazarene Church of Cates with Rev. C. W. Mears of Spencer officiating. Interment was in Miller Cemetery near Lodi with the Woodrow Funeral Home in charge. – S&E
