McMAHAN, Ivan - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

VEEDERSBURG – Ivan ‘Buckshot’ McMahan, 74, of Veedersburg died at 3:45 a.m. today in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Ill. He was born Jan. 23, 1905, in Fountain County, a son of Albert and Lillie Belle Graves McMahan. On June 22, 1935, he was married at Paris, Ill., to the former Dorothy Lucille Crowder, who survives. Other survivors are two sons, Larry McMahan of Veedersburg and Daniel McMahan of Rt. 2, Veedersburg; three daughters, Dixie Claudine Reatherford of Indianapolis, Stella Marlar of Rockville and Beaulah Woolwine of Montezuma; a brother, Albert McMahan of Boswell; 18 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Parham Funeral Home at Veedersburg with burial in Rush Creek Cemetery. Friends may call 3-5 p.m. or 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. – jlr
