McLEAN, William - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

VEEDERSBURG --- William McLean, 85, life resident of this community, died Thursday afternoon at his home on his farm near Stone Bluff. Mr. McLean was born Oct. 13, 1872, the son of Francis and Holda Boord McLean. He was married Feb. 18, 1892, to May Grady. They recently observed their 65th wedding anniversary. Mr. McLean belonged to the Osborne Prairie Christian Church. Survivors include the widow: two sons, Fred McLean and Grady McLean, both of Stone Bluff; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the J. Fred Parham Funeral Home in Veedersburg. Funeral services will be held in the Osborne Prairie Christian Church at 2 p.m. Saturday, with burial in the Osborne Prairie Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour at the church before the services.  --typed by Walt W
