McKNIGHT, Mabel Applegate - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

NEWTOWN --- Mrs. Mabel McKnight, 71, died at her home in Newtown at 9:30 a.m. Thursday after several months of illness. Born Dec. 8, 1885, near Veedersburg, she was the daughter of James and Frances Miller Applegate. On Aug. 26, 1903, she married T. G. McKnight. She was a member of the Union Christian Church near Newtown. Surviving are the husband; three daughters, Mrs. Zala Ingersoll of Hillsboro, Mrs. Lavera Hancock of Chico, Calif., and Mrs. Anita Allen of Wingate; one son, Charles McKnight of Wingate; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Two sons, Harold and Donald, preceded her in death. The body is at the Crumley Funeral home in Hillsboro and funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Union Christian Church near Newtown.  --typed by Walt W
