VEEDERSBURG - Jesse McKinzie, 61, of Veedersburg, died at a Logansport hospital at 9 p.m. Sunday. He had been a patient for less than a week. Born in the Veedersburg area Jan. 17, 1904, he was the son of William and Effa Layman McKinzie. He was never married. Mr. McKinzie worked as a laborer and spent most of his life in the Veedersburg community except for a few years when he lived in Pine Village, north of Attica. Survivors include several cousins in the Veedersburg area. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Fishero Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiating. Burial will be in the Rockfield Cemetery near Veedersburg. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday between 2 and 4 p.m. and between 7 and 9. -- jlr
