Thomas McKinsie, 84, died Saturday, Feb. 29, at his home on Kingman Route 2, after an illness of several months. He was born Feb. 1, 1880 in Fountain County, the son of Charles and Mary Patterson McKinsie. He was married in 1899 to Anna Neal, who survives. He had been a member of the Masonic Lodge 314 for 54 years.
Other survivors include a son, Eugene, Kingman R. 2; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Barker of Kingman R. 2; two grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother.
Services were held at 2 p.m. . Tuesday at the Woodrow Funeral Home with the Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiating, and Masonic services. Burial was in the Centennial Cemetery.
