Mrs. Annie McKinsey (spelled McKinsie on tombstone etc), age 89, of Kingman died at 11 p.ml Wednesday May 17 at her home.  She was born near Yeddo April 22, 1878 the daughter of John and Mary Bonebrake Neal. She was married in 1899 to Thomas P. McKinsey (McKinsie) who preceded her in death May 25, 1964.  She was a member of the Rebekah and Eastern Star lodges, Centennial EUB Church and its Ladies Aid Society. She was an honorary member of the Fountain County Historical Society. Mrs. McKinsey is survived by one son, Eugene of Kingman and one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Barker, also of Kingman. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and one brother. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman.  The Rev. HG Kollmeyer officiated and burial was in Centennial Cemetery south of Veedersburg on US 41. – kbz

Kingman - Mrs. Anna McKinsie 89 died at her home 4 miles east of Kingman Wed night after a short illness. Born near Yeddo, she was a daughter of John and Mary Bonebrake Neal. In 1889 she married Thomas McKinsie, who died Feb 29, 1964. Mrs. McKinsie was a member of the Centennial EUB Church and Ladies Aid of Kingman OES 204 and Rebekah Lodge 517 and an honorary member of the Fountain County Hisotrical Society. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Barker and a son, Eugene McKinsie, both of near Kingman; two grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother. Funeral services are announced for 2 p.m. Sat at Woodrow here with Rev. HG Kollmeyer officiating and burial in Centennenial Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 Friday at the funeral home.
