Covington, June 29 – A prolonged illness was ended by death Sunday night for William Henry McKinney, 58, at his home. He was a native of Fountain County born Oct 13, 1884 to William B. and Sarah Osborn McKinney. His wife, Goldie Edith Hagley McKinney survives with five children as follows: Mrs. Frances Louise Whyde, Mrs. Erma Ruth French, Mrs. Isabel Swaney and Mrs. Helen Shuman, all of Covington and Charles J. at home. Others surviving are a sister, Mrs. Maude Reed of Silverwood, 76 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Five children preceded him in death. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Shelby Funeral Home with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery. – kbz
