Charles W. McKinney, whose name appeared on Thursday's casualty list, was a resident of West Point, Tippecanoe county, Indiana and was 28 years of age. when he was only 15 years of age, he enlisted in the infantry, in Louisiana, and re-enlisted at the first call at the beginning of the present war. He is survived by his father and a sister, both of Attica. His mother died when he was a small boy.
