McKINNEY, Alice - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Covington - Alice C. McKinney, 93, died at 9:10 a.m. Tuesday Nov 25, 2003 at Provena USMC Logan Campus, Danville, Ill. Born Jan 27, 1910 in Sheffield, PA she attended the Warren Conservatory of Music in Warren, PA and graduated from Mount Sinai Hospital School of Nursing in Cleveland. When she retired, she was the public health nurse of Fountain County. Mrs. McKinney was active in the United Methodist Church in Covington, the Women's Club and the Fountain County Hisotircal Society. Her marriage was to Lawrence McKinney of Wingate on Sept 20, 1936 in Akron, Ohio. He preceded her in death April 1999. Survivors are her children: Peace McKinney (wife: Alice) of Wingate and Anne Huston of Laguna Niguel, California.
