McKINLEY, Martha Sphan - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Martha Christina McKinley of Danville, Illinois, age 91, died Sunday morning, October 18, in Vermilion Manor Nursing Home. She was born at Fulton, Illinois, December 11, 1890, the daughter of Henry and Hannah Ipsen Sphan. July 29, 1911, she married Raymond McKinley, who died November 1, 1963.

  Mrs. McKinley owned and operated a dress shop in Kewanee, Illinois, before moving to Danville four years ago and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church there.

  Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Vivian Parker of Covington; seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

  Graveside services and burial were Tuesday afternoon in Pleasant View Cemetery at Kewanee with Lakeside Funeral Chapel of Danville in charge. – thanks to S
