John Alva McKenzie, 76 of near Attica died Thursday enroute to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette. He was born in 1882 in Warren County, son of John T. and Josephine Banes McKenzie. He was married in 1903 to Ada Clark who survives. Other survivors are three daughters: Mrs. James McKeand of Joliet, Mrs. Forrest Stickler of Attica and Miss Ruth McKenzie of Independence; three sons, Floyd and Clark, both of Lafayette and Robert at home; three sisters and a brother. Funeral services were held Sunday at the Roemer Funeral Home with burial in Bethel Cemetery. - kbz
