Wallace -- Lloyd C. McKee a carpenter died at 4:40 p.m. Monday June 12,
1961. He had worked the day at the Priebe farm North of Waveland,
Indiana and after quitting at 4:30 he gathered his tools and was
preparing to leave for home when he keeled over in the years. He was a
member of the Wallace Christian Church. Mr. McKee was born Jan 29, 1905
at Wallace and lived most of his life in that community. On May 4,
1929, he was married to Helen Wendall in Covington. She survives. Other
survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Wills of Syracuse, Ind; 3
grandsons; 4 half sisters and two half brothers. The body is at the
Crumley Funeral Home where friends will be received Wednesday afternoon
and evening. Services will be there at 2 p.m. Thursday, Rev. John
Servies of Crawfordsville will officiate with burial in the Lutheran
Cemetery at Crawfordsville.

Lloyd C. McKee, 56, a life resident of Wallace, died suddenly at 4:40 p.m. Monday, June 12, 1961.
A carpenter by trade, Mr. McKee had worked the day at the Preibe , farm north of Waveland. After gathering his tools he was preparing to leave for home, when he collapsed in the yard.
He was born January 29, 1905 at Wallace, and was married on May 4, 1929 to Helen Wendall in Covington. She survives.
He was a member of the Wallace Christian Church and graduated from the Wallace High School in 1923.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Willis of Syracuse, Ind.; three grandsons; four half-sisters and two half-brothers.
Services were held at the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro at 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. John Servies officiated. Burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery at Wallace. - jz
