Mrs. Effie Belle McKEE died at the tall Trees Nursing Home, Covington at 5:39 a.m. Friday, July 20, 1973. She had been in failing health since January. Born Nov 13, 1875, in Jackson Twp near Wallace, she was the daughter Solomon and Elizabeth Day Livengood. She was married to Albert E. McKee Nov 13, 1897 who died in 1951. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Doane and Mrs. Marie Carter; 3 grandchildren; 9 greats, two great greats, two nephews and 3 nieces. A son, 3 brothers and a sister preceded her in death. Mrs. McKee was a member of the Wallace Lutheran Church, past matron of the Wallace OES 415 and Wallace Cobalistic Club. Friends will be received after 4 p.m Saturday in Hegg Funeral home, Covington. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Fogle officiating. Eastern Star memorial services by the Wallace Chapter will be at 8 p.m. Saturday. Burial in Wallace Lutheran Cemetery.
