McKee, Aldine

Aldine M. McKee of RR 1, Attica, age 63, was found dead Tuesday, April 5, at her home. She was born near Reynolds, March 21, 1920, the daughter of Chester H. and Mabel Gilbert Dill. June 21, 1941, she married Louis S. McKee, who survives.

She was a member of Newtown Community Church, its women’s group, Attica OES, Psi Iota Xi Sorority, Newtown Service Club and Newtown Sewing Club. She was a graduate of Klondike High School and Lafayette Business College and was formerly a secretary to the dean of the College of Agriculture at Purdue University.

Also surviving are a daughter, Susan Fisher of rural Attica; two sons, John S. of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and James S. of rural Attica; her mother Mabel Dill Wettschurack of rural Attica; a brother, Chester W. Dill of West Point; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Newtown Community Church with Rev. Craig Bex officiating. Burial was in Green Bay Cemetery near Newtown. Maus Funeral Home in Attica was in charge of arrangements. – thanks to S
