WILLIAMSPORT β€” Mary A. (Garriott) McIntosh, 94, Williamsport, died at 12:15 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, 2007 in Woodland Manor Nursing Center, Attica, where she resided the past six weeks. She was born May 20, 1913 near Rensselaer, the daughter of Roscoe and Nancy (Hopkins) Garriott. She married Estel D. β€œRed” McIntosh Feb. 3, 1932 in Danville, Ill. He preceded in death May 26, 2001. She worked as a cook in the Warren County School System where she enjoyed the children. She was also a housewife. She was the longest living member of the Judyville United Methodist Church, a member of the O.E.S. Chapter #162 West Lebanon where she was past worthy matron, a member of the Warren County Garden Club and American War Mothers. She was the best pie baker and enjoyed cooking and catching crappies. Her greatest love was her family. Survivors include: two sons, James M. (Ann) McIntosh, Williamsport and William Ray McIntosh, Paris, Mo.; a daughter, Norma (Ron) Crane, Williamsport; a sister, Laverne (Fay) Fix, Williamsport; two brothers, Jim (Margaret) Garriott, Williamsport and Bill (Ida) Garriott, Fowler; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Richard McIntosh; two brothers, Harold Garriott and Bob Garriott; four sisters, Clarice Bierley, May Burman, Merle Burman and Helen Cripe; and a great-granddaughter, Valerie McIntosh. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) in Grady Funeral Home, Williamsport, with Pastor Cathy McCoy and the Rev. George P. Weister officiating. Burial will be in West Lebanon Cemetery.
