Williamsport, Ind -- George Leo McIntosh, 70 of 3 E. Monroe, died at 8:30 p.m. CST Monday March 12, 1973 in Lake View Memorial Hospital. He had been a patient there 9 days. Born March 8, 1903 in Warren County, he was the son of Frank and Maude Goodrick McIntosh. He had resided in Warren County all his life, moving to Williamsport in 1951. He was married Dec 24, 1924, in Lafayette to Maude Pence, who survives. Mr. McIntosh was a retired farmer and had retired 3 years ago from the Warren County Highway Department. He was a member and past deacon at Williamsport Christian Church. Survivors include a son, Carl Dean of Atlanta, GA; a daughter, Mrs. Ray Shadowens of Lafayette; three brothers, Paul of New Syrna Beach, Fla; Harold of Fowler and Estel of Williamsport Rt 1; three sisters, Mrs. Glen (Edith) Pribble of Williamsport Rt 1; Mrs. Marie Ewen of Sheldon and Mrs. Dorothy Foster of Boswell and six grandchildren. A son, three brothers and a sister preceded him in death. Services will be at 2 p.m. EST Thursday at Fisher Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Shryock officiating. Burial will be in Jordan Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Wednesday.
