Perrysville, Ind - Ora Oscar McGinnis, 62 a resident of Perrysville Rt 1 since 1959, died at 5:35 pm Sunday Feb 5, 1978 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He had been a patient there since Jan 2. Born Nov 16, 1915 in Parke County he was the son of Frank & Myrtle Zackmire McGinnis. He was married to Bessie Hines on March 8, 1959. She survives. Mr. McGinnis formerly resided north of Danville and in the Bismarck area. He had been employed by the Cox Feed Company. Other survivors include two brothers, Alvin of Moline & Harold of Evansville; two sisters, Mrs. MIldred Phillips and Mrs. Kathlene Jones; and two half brothers, Frank of Texas and Gnee of Danville. He was preceded in death by a brother and sister. Services. will be at 2 p.m. EST Wednesday at Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. The Rev. Wm Rudd will officiate. Burial in Zackmire Cemetery. Friends will be receivedd from 1-5 p.m Tuesday at the funeral home.
