McGINNIS, Mazena Dove Barker

Mrs. Zenna Dove McGinnis, 76 died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Earl Meek, 617 E. Main Street at 6:35 o'clock Tuesday night. Death was due to a cerebral hemorrhage with which she was stricken early Sunday morning. Born April 17, 1869, in Fountain County, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Davie Dove. She was first married in 1889 to Monroe Barker. Following his death, she married James McGinnis, who also preceded her in death. Mrs. McGinnis was educated in the FOuntain County schools and later taught in the schools of that county. THe survivors include 3 daughters: Mrs. Earl Meek and Mrs. John Ward, both of this city; Mrs. Walter Schaeffer of LaPorte; a son, RC Barker of Chicago; a brother, Herman Dove, of Walkerton, ind and 3 grandchildren, Sgt. Robert Barker Jr. of the US Army Air Corps; Lois Loraine Barker of Chicago and Mrs. Nelson Hunter of Wabash. She was preceded in death by a son, Levon and a sister.
