Julia Ann West was born in Danveis (sic) County, Indiana on the 29th day of November, 1814, In the year 1835 she was united in marriage with Jacob McGinnes (sic) who died in Covington, Indiana on the 10th day of January, 1879 There were born to them 10 children, all of whom are dead except 4: Andrew J; Louisa Phebus, William and Emma Sturm. At the age of 14 years Mrs. McGinnes (sic) united with the Methodist Episcopal Church in Davis (sic) county, Indiana. She was always a devoted admirer of the teachings of the church. She died in Covington, Indiana on the 20th day of October 1895 aged 80 years 10 months and 9 days. Interment at the old cemetery.
