Wallace, May 10 - George Gooding, coming along the road northwest of here Monday night about 11, found the dead body of Johnson McGINNIS lying by the roadside. The man had been dead for some time. Summoning aid Mr. Gooding immediately saw to the removal of the body to the home of McGinnis' brother, James McGinnis, SW of here. It was found that he had died of leakage of the heart. McGinnis was a bachelor and had dwelt by himself for about 18 years about 3 miles NW of Wallace. He was 60 and had been ill for some time. On the night of his death he started home from the Thomas farm SW of here where he was employed. It was dark and Mr. Thomas took him a part of the way in a buggy. The place where his body was found shows that he fell shortly after his employer had left him. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 in charge of Rev. CL Hunt.
