McGINNIS, Bessie Hines - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

PERRYSVILLE - Bessie H. McGinnis, 68, of Rt. 1 died in her home at noon Thursday. Mrs. McGinnis was a life resident of the area. She and her late husband operated a fruit and vegetable truck farm. Born Jan. 21, 1912, in Vermilion County, Ill., she was a daughter of John F. and Ethel E. Jones Hines. She married Ora Oscar McGinnis on March 8, 1959. He died Feb. 6, 1978. Surviving are 10 cousins, Everett Jones of Rt. 5, Danville, Ill., Mrs. William (Doris) Rudd of Rt. 5, Mrs. Evelyn Dillon of Longview, Wash., Henry Wright of Clayton, Mrs. Dortha Russo of Youngstown, Ohio, Mrs. Mary Roswalka of Harvey, Ill., Charles Wright of Bothell, Wash., Stacy Wright of Rt. 2, Covington, Rolland Hathaway of Rt. 1, Kingman, and Samuel Hathaway of Rt. 1, Kingman. Services are scheduled at 11 a.m. Saturday in Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home at Covington with the Rev. William Rudd officiating. Burial will be in Zackmire Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. today. - jlr
