McGAUGHEY, John Max - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

VEEDERSBURG — Relatives here have received word of the death Feb. 3 of John Max McGaughey, 54, of Indianapolis. Mr. McGaughey formerly lived in Veedersburg. He had been ill 18 months and was reported critically ill one week prior to death. At the time of his death he was employed as a salesman for International Correspondence School. Born May 10, 1917, in Veedersburg, he was a son of Oliver W. and Mary A. McGaughey. Survivors include the widow, Maxine, of Indianapolis; two sons, Steven of Noblesville and Michael, at home; two daughters, Angela and Susan, at home and the mother and sister, Miss Martha McGaughey both of Veedersburg. Funeral services and burial were conducted at Zionsville.   --typed by Walt W
