McGAHAN, Blanche Primmer

WAYNETOWN – Mrs. Blanche May McGahan, 83, of Waynetown died at 5 p.m. Friday in Carmen Nursing Home at Crawfordsville after an extended illness. Mrs. McGahan had been active in Greenhill United Brethren Church. She was married to Fred McGahan on Oct. 10, 1915. He preceded her in death on March 15, 1965. Also preceding her in death were a half-sister, Cecil Primmer, and a sister, Ica Grimble. Surviving are a half-brother, Fred Primmer of Wolcott; a niece, Mrs. William Livingston of Waynetown, and two nephews, Francis Grimble of Waynetown and Gene Grimble of Portage. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Johnston Funeral Home at Otterbein with the Rev. John C. Plug officiating. Burial will be in Davis Cemetery at Greenhill. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. today. – jlr
