HOOPESTON, ILL. - Funeral services for Arthur B. McFarland, age 75, a farmer and cattle raiser, and husband of the late Jennie (Jane) Wilkey McFarland of Covington, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, at the Wood Funeral Home here. The Rev. O. C. Starn officiated and burial was in Floral Hill Cemetery. Mr. McFarland died at 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, in the Community Memorial Hospital in Hoopeston. He had been ill six months. He was born in Hoopeston June 26, 1889, the son of William B. and Mary A. McCoy McFarland. He was married Feb. 26, 1919 to Jennie (Jane) Wilkey of Covington and she preceded him in death in 1960. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the Polled Shorthorn Association. Surviving are: one daughter …….. (sorry rest is gone) -- jlr
