COVINGTON, Ind. (CNS) --- Mrs. Grace McDaniel, 84, of 908 Jefferson, died at 11:40 p.m. yesterday (June 6, 1968) at the Rudisill Nursing Home. She had been a patient there since January and had been ill several years. Born April 22, 1884, at State Line, she was the daughter of Abram and Mary High. She was married Nov. 29, 1961, to Carl McDaniel, who survives. She was a life resident of State Line until moving to Covington in 1961. She was a member of the State Line Methodist Church. Other survivors include two step sons, Earl of Attica and Ray of Covington; several nieces and a nephew. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home. The Rev. Roger Simmons will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery at Danville. The body is at the funeral home. Friends will be received after 6 p.m. today. -- typed by Walt W

Mrs. McDaniel was born April 22, 1884, at State Line, the daughter of Abram and Mary High. She was married Nov. 29, 1961, to Carl McDaniel, who survives. She was a life resident of State Line until moving to Covington in 1961. She was a member of the State Line Methodist Church.
Surviving in addition to the husband are: two step-sons, Earl of Attica and Ray (Wimpy) McDaniel of Covington, several nieces and one nephew.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home here. The Rev. Roger Simmons, pastor of the Bethel Full Gospel Church, officiated and burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery in Danville, Ill.
Serving as pallbearers were John M. Hayden, Lloyd D. Shumaker, Robert Ells, James Everson, John Tinsley and McKinley Fairchild. - jz
