Veedersburg - Donald P. McCormick, 74, of 2108 Ulen Lane, Lafayette died Monday morning in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette. Mr. McCormick was a retired conductor for Norfolk-Western Railroad. He was a life member of Centennial Church and held memberships in Veedersburg Lodge 491 F&AM and the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. He was born Aug 26, 1905, in Covington a son of Charles and Anna May Patterson McCormick. He was married to Florence Hoagland Aug 10, 1924 in Sterling. She survives. Also surviving are a son, Charles W. McCormick of Lafayette; a daughter, Frances Miller of Orange, Calif; a sister, Hilda McCormick of Lafayette; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Parham Funeral Home here with the Rev. Wayne Hoover officiating. Burial will be in Osborne Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5--9 p.m. today. The family requests that memorials be made in the form of donations to the American Cancer Society. - typed by kbz
