Hillsboro- Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie Isa McCormick, 82, of Hilsboro, who died Monday afternoon in Methodist Hospital at Henderson, KY are set for 2 p.m. Friday at Crumley-William Funeral Home here. Rev. James Whitaker will officiate with burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. The family says that friends may give to the heart fund. Calling at the funeral home. Mrs. McCormick was a native of Waynetown, born Oct 28, 1886 to John and Laura Ann Scott Michael. She married James C. McCormick on October 10, 1906. He died Dec 11, 1930. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. (Hazel) Herman Foxworthy of Hillsboro; two sons, James C. of Henderson and George R. of Wingate; 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A son and 7 brothers are deceased. Mrs. McCormick was a member of the Hillsboro Christian Church and OES at Waynetown.

Hillsboro – Mrs. Carrie I. McCormick, a resident of Hillsboro died 1:30 p.m. today Monday in Henderson, Ky as a result of injuries suffered in an auto accident on Friday, August 15.At the time of the accident, she was visiting her son, James C. McCormick and family at Henderson. McCormick was also injured in the accident and is hospitalized. Mrs. McCormick was born Oct 28, 1886 at Waynetown the daughter of John and Laura Ann Scott Michael. She was married Oct 10, 1906 to James C. McCormick who died Dec 11, 1930. Surviving are her son, James, a daughter, Mrs. Herman (Hazel) Foxworthy, Hillsboro and another son, George R. McCormick, Wingate. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was a member of the Hillsboro Christian Church and the Waynetown OES. Funeral services were Friday 2 p.m. at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. James W. Whitaker officiating. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery in Waynetown. – kbz
