Donald Wilson McCorkle, 79, Wingate, IN died at home.  He was born July 17, 1924 In Tippecanoe County.  Mr. McCorkle was a graduate of Jackson Heights High School and was a self employed livestock breeder and farmer.  He raised, showed and sold Hereford Cattle and Belgian Draft Horses. Services will be at 11 a.m. July 9 in MeHarry Cemetery, Wingate, IN. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. July 8 at his home.  Survivors include wife Neva Dowden McCorkle of Wingate, IN; son Norris 'Bud' Dowden, daughters Laura (Kevin) Gross, Mary Lou (Doug) McCain.  Arrangements by Shoemaker Funeral Home, Waynetown, IN.
