Mabel McCord, 92, formerly of 703 W. Main St, died Saturday evening in Culver Hospital. She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church at Danville, Ill.  Mrs. McCord was educated at Veedersburg.  Born Feb 27, 1884 at Fountain County, she was the daughter of Joseph and Evalina Clark Coats.  She was married to Dr. Carl B. McCord on June 30, 1907 at Indianapolis.  Surviving are a son, Dr. Gwynn of Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. Ruby Snyder of Joplin, Mo; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband March 5, 1964 and a daughter, Ona McCord Smith. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. JP Hamilton officiatnig.  Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Relatives ask that there be no calling at the funeral home.
