John Nelson McCollum, well-known resident of the county, died at his home, two and a half miles east of Crawfordsville on the Dixie Highway Sunday evening after an illness of three months. His death was caused by anemia. THe deceased was born May 26, 1874 near Mellott, Ind, the son of James and Elizabeth McCollum. He was marred in 1906 to Miss Emer Puckett. Mr. McCollum was a member of the United Brethren Church. He was a former resident of Waynetown and had lived at the present residence for four years. He is survived by his wife and seven children: Delma McCollum of Waynetown; Mrs. Floyd Harshbarger of New Richmond and Kenneth, DOrothy, Chester, John and James at home; One son, Fay preceded the father in death. Mr. McCollum's mother, Elizabeth McCollum, two brothers, Everett of Crawfordsville and Samuel of Veedersburg and two sisters, Mrs. Dicy Crumley of Veedersburg and Mrs. Susie Crane of Wingate also survive. The funeral wilol be held from the home at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. Bray will have charge and burial will be made at Waynetown - kbz
