Everett P. McCollum, 60, of near Waynetown died at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville, Friday morning September 8 after an 8-week illness. He was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Leighty McCollum and was born March 10, 1882 at Waveland and was married in 1908 to Julia Ehrie. The widow, three daughters, Mrs. Walter Griffilliam, Crawfordsville; Mrs. Earl Boone, Veedersburg, Miss Mabel McCollum at home and two sons, Bernard McCollum, Dayton, Ohio and Cpl. Ott McCollum with the US Army survive. Other survivors are a brother, Sam McCollum, Veedersburg and two sisters, Mrs. Dicey Crumley, Hillsboro and Mrs. Fred Crane,
Crawfordsville and six grandchildren. Funeral was held at Grenard & Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown Monday morning with burial in Calvary Cemetery near Crawfordsville --- kbz
